This is day 7 of the of d20 Dark Ages’ D&D 40th Anniversary Blog Hop Challenge! Day 7: First D&D product you ever bought. Do you still have it?

D&D 40th Pathfinder Book

I went for years mooching books off of my friends. Embarrassingly long! (Thank you Pel and Brian.)

The first real investment I made was buying a Pathfinder core book. I even wrote my name in it! I spent my first evening with it paging through the book and adding little plastic tabs for each commonly referenced section. Combat maneuvers, experience charts, a tab for each class, etc. The most useful tabs were the alphabetical tabs for the spell section. As a wizard (turned ghoul) it saved me tons of time.\

I do still have it, though the binding is absolutely destroyed. If I opened it too quickly I’m sure it would break apart into cardboard confetti. I absolutely won’t ever get rid of it.
