The year is about half over, but why let that stop us from making our 2014 Game of the Year predictions? We get real about the games that have been impressing the heck out of us for the first half of the year on top of our normal run of tangentially related rants. We also come to the conclusion that modern generation gaps are about 8 years and social scientists can shove it. If the reason that save icons in most programs are little blue squarish things is only abstract information, you’re probably not in the same generation as those of us on the podcast.
