Episode 25 – Choose your path
This week, Jon speaks at length about the difference between Pathfinder and D&D. Turns out that they’re both D&D. However, he gives some good advice on the advantages and disadvantages of D&D 3.5 (Pathfinder) and D&D 4th Edition. Meticulous fantasy simulation or Final Fantasy Tactics with dice? The choice is yours. Though our current weekly groups are being run by Jon in 13th Age and we highly recommend the system to anyone that liked the power combat system in 4th Edition, but would prefer something a little less strict and with fireballs that aren’t squares.
