Episode 53 – Cosplay and Digressions
Possibly one of the most interesting parts of conventions is the cosplay. This week we discuss Megan’s upcoming journey into the world of costumed con goers. She’s been working on putting together an outfit to wear to PAX this year in preparation for writing about the cosplay experience as well as some social issues surrounding the practice. For more about that, check out part 1 and part 2 of Megan’s cosplay diary. Of course, discussions of cosplay lead to comic books and a cascading digression which then leads to video games. It’s not like anyone really expects us to stick to a single topic for a whole show anyway, right? It turns out we have a lot of opinions to share.
